Phaco-Emulsifipation

Phacoemulsification is a minimally invasive surgical procedure used to remove a cataract, which is a clouding of the eye's natural lens. It's a common and effective treatment for cataracts, restoring clear vision.

3 Snip Procedure

The "3-snip procedure" is a surgical technique used to treat watery eyes or excessive tearing. It involves making three small incisions (snips) in the tear duct to widen the opening and improve tear drainage.

Enucleation

Enucleation is a surgical procedure that involves the removal of the entire eye, including the optic nerve. It's a complex procedure that is typically performed as a last resort for conditions.

Enucleation With Ball Implant

Enucleation with ball implant is a surgical procedure where the entire eye is removed, and a prosthetic eye implant is placed in the eye socket. This procedure is typically performed as a last resort for conditions.

Evisceration

Evisceration is a surgical procedure where the internal contents of the eye (such as the lens, vitreous, and retina) are removed, while the outer shell (sclera) is left intact. This procedure is typically performed when the internal structures of the eye are severely damaged or diseased and cannot be repaired.

Pterygium

A pterygium is a fleshy growth that forms on the clear outer layer of the eye (cornea) and invades the white part of the eye (sclera). It often appears as a triangular-shaped growth that can extend onto the cornea, affecting vision. The pterygium can cause redness, irritation.

Squint Correction (1 muscle)

Squint correction (1 muscle) is a surgical procedure to improve the alignment of the eyes in patients with strabismus (crossed or wandering eyes). 1 This condition occurs when the eyes don't point in the same direction, leading to misalignment.

Entropion/Ectropion Correction

Surgical repair of entropion is performed to restore the eyelid to its proper anatomical alignment. This, in turn, protects the eye from injury and reduces associated symptoms. This activity describes the four types of entropion: congenital, involutional, acute spastic, and cicatricial.

Surgery For Lid Deformity/
Tumor/Injury Repair (Minor)

Minor eyelid deformities, tumors, or injuries often require surgical repair to restore the eyelid's function and appearance. These procedures are typically outpatient procedures performed under local anesthesia.

Dacryocystectomy
(Dct)

Dacryocystectomy (DCT) is a surgical procedure that involves the complete removal of the lacrimal sac, a small pouch located near the inner corner of the eye. This procedure is typically performed to treat chronic or recurrent dacryocystitis, a condition where the lacrimal sac becomes inflamed and infected.

Glaucoma Surgery (Trabeculectomy)

Trabeculectomy is a type of glaucoma surgery that creates a new pathway for fluid to drain out of the eye, reducing intraocular pressure (IOP) and protecting the optic nerve from damage.

Pneumoretinopexy

Pneumatic retinopexy is a minimally invasive procedure used to repair a detached retina. It's an outpatient procedure that involves injecting a gas bubble into the eye to push the retina back into place.

Punctal Occlusion

Punctal occlusion is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat dry eye syndrome by reducing the rate at which tears drain from the eyes. It involves blocking the small openings in the eyelids (puncta) through which tears normally drain.

Inj.Triamcinolone Acetodine

Triamcinolone acetodine is a corticosteroid medication that is used to treat a variety of inflammatory conditions. It works by reducing inflammation and suppressing the immune system.

Inj.Ozurdex

Ozurdex is a brand name for a medication called dexamethasone, which is a type of corticosteroid. It comes in the form of a tiny implant that is injected directly into the eye. This implant slowly releases dexamethasone over time, reducing inflammation in the eye.

Evisceration With Ball Implant

Evisceration with ball implant is a surgical procedure where the internal contents of the eye (lens, vitreous, retina) are removed, and a prosthetic eye implant is placed into the remaining eye shell. This procedure is typically performed when the internal structures of the eye are severely damaged or diseased and cannot be repaired.

Pterygium With Autografting

Pterygium with autografting is a surgical procedure used to treat pterygium, a fleshy growth that forms on the eye's surface. This procedure involves removing the pterygium and then covering the affected area with a piece of healthy tissue taken from another part of the eye (autograft).

Squint Correction (2 muscle)

Squint correction (2 muscle) is a surgical procedure to improve the alignment of the eyes in patients with strabismus (crossed or wandering eyes). This condition occurs when the eyes don't point in the same direction, leading to misalignment.

Ptosis Correction

Ptosis, also known as a droopy eyelid, occurs when the upper eyelid droops down, covering part of the pupil. This can impair vision and cause cosmetic concerns. Ptosis correction surgery is a procedure to lift the eyelid and improve its position.

Surgery For Lid Deformity/Tumor/
Injury Repair (Major)

Major eyelid deformities, tumors, or injuries often require complex surgical procedures to restore the eyelid's function and appearance. These procedures may involve reconstructive techniques to repair significant tissue loss.

Dacryocystorhino
stomy(Dcr) (Endo/External)

Dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR) is a surgical procedure designed to restore proper tear drainage by creating a new pathway between the lacrimal sac and the nasal cavity. This procedure is performed to treat nasolacrimal duct obstruction, a condition that causes excessive tearing.

Glaucoma Surgery With Cataract

Combined cataract and glaucoma surgery is a procedure that addresses both conditions simultaneously. This approach can be beneficial for patients who have both cataracts and glaucoma, as it often requires only one surgical procedure and can lead to better long-term outcomes.

Chalazion (I&C)/Cyst

A chalazion is a small, painless lump that forms on the eyelid when an oil gland (meibomian gland) becomes blocked. It's often mistaken for a stye, but unlike a stye, a chalazion is not usually red or painful.

Inj.Razumab

Ptosis, also known as a droopy eyelid, occurs when the upper eyelid droops down, covering part of the pupil. This can impair vision and cause cosmetic concerns. Ptosis correction surgery is a procedure to lift the eyelid and improve its position.

Inj.Accentrix

Accentrix works by blocking a protein called vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), which plays a role in the formation of new blood vessels. By inhibiting VEGF, Accentrix can reduce the abnormal blood vessel growth.

Inj.Pagenax

Pagenax is a medication used to treat wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD), a condition that causes vision loss. It works by blocking a protein called vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), which is responsible for abnormal blood vessel growth in the eye. This helps to slow down the progression of the disease and prevent further vision loss.
